Ready to pilot new climate-oriented Salmon-Safe development standards?
Following a 12-month effort with Salmon-Safe’s independent science team and other technical experts, we’re happy to announce the release of Salmon-Safe Urban Development Standards 3.0, providing new stormwater design guidance for development projects as well as elevating climate resiliency planning as a core requirement for certified projects.
Throughout 2021, Salmon-Safe Urban Development Standards 3.0 are available for piloting for any development project. Beginning in January 2022 the updated standards will be mandatory for new and recertifying projects.
