Wild salmon love cold, clear water and we’re thrilled to join with Portland’s Widmer Brothers Brewing to promote Cold Waters, a Cold IPA that benefits Salmon-Safe’s conservation work with farmers.
How’s the beer? As a Cold IPA, Cold Waters combines the hoppiness of a traditional IPA with the crispness of a lager. “It’s the perfect combination of clean and hoppy, with citrus and stone fruit flavors, and a refreshingly smooth finish,” says our resident tasting expert.
Widmer, an early champion for sourcing Salmon-Safe hops and malts across its production, is commiting $.50 to Salmon-Safe for every case of Cold Waters Cold IPA sold in Oregon and Washington from March 2022 to December 2023.
