Salmon-Safe is gearing up for further Inland Northwest expansion and we need your help. We’re looking to scale up our work in Idaho with respect to transitioning growers to Salmon-Safe practices. That’s why we’re hiring a part-time consultant working in tandem with our interior Columbia Basin outreach team and in collaboration with regional implementation partners like The Nature Conservancy in Idaho, Henry’s Fork Foundation, and Friends of the Teton River. Our mission is to transform land management practices so that Pacific salmon can thrive in West Coast watersheds.
Expertise in conservation practices on working lands, local farming issues in the Inland Northwest, and connections with agricultural organizations are essential to the successful implementation of this work.
