Salmon-Safe Puget Sound

We joined forces with Seattle-based Stewardship Partners in 2004 to introduce Salmon-Safe across Puget Sound’s agricultural tributaries. For urban work around Puget Sound, Salmon-Safe leads outreach through our Bellevue-based operation.

Beginning with four environmentally pioneering growers in the Snoqualmie watershed, Stewardship Partners has expanded Salmon-Safe to more than 100 farms, dairies, and vineyards across Puget Sound and in other key salmon watersheds in Washington state. Stewardship Partners also leads Salmon-Safe Golf efforts regionally. Learn more about Salmon-Safe certification of farms and golf courses through Stewardship Partners or email Emma Vowels-Davison or call 206-292-9875.

In Puget Sound’s urban areas, implementation is led by Ella Sandquist, Salmon-Safe Puget Sound Director. For more information, please email Ella.
