We joined forces with Seattle-based Stewardship Partners in 2004 to introduce Salmon-Safe across Puget Sound’s agricultural tributaries. For urban work around Puget Sound, Salmon-Safe leads outreach through our Seattle-based operation.
Beginning with four environmentally pioneering growers in the Snoqualmie watershed, Stewardship Partners has expanded Salmon-Safe to more than 100 farms, dairies, and vineyards across Puget Sound and in other key salmon watersheds in Washington state. Stewardship Partners also leads Salmon-Safe Golf efforts regionally. Learn more about Salmon-Safe certification of farms and golf courses through Stewardship Partners or email Amelia Bahr or call 206-292-9875.
For work in Puget Sound’s urban areas, Salmon-Safe Puget Sound is led by Ellen Southard, longtime Seattle-based champion for green building and urban ecology. For more information, please email Ellen or call 206-579-8645.
