Salmon-Safe is joining with Idaho partners Friends of the Teton River, Henry’s Fork Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy of Idaho to roll out a new Trout-Safe certification program for Idaho farmers and ranchers. To achieve Trout-Safe certification, farms are assessed by an independent inspector for water quality and habitat conservation practices. For farms assessed this year, there’s no cost for growers to participate in Trout-Safe.
